Recently, we’ve been receiving an increasing number of messages from users who are experiencing difficulties downloading files via ArtStation. If this has happened to you, you’re definitely not alone, and yes, we know how frustrating it can be.
This post explains what’s going on and how you can get your files without stress.
The Reality of the Situation
We’re seeing the same problems reported again and again:
- ZIP files are not downloading at all
- Downloads stopping midway
- Successfully downloaded ZIPs that don’t extract or are corrupted
At this point, it’s no longer an isolated case — we’re receiving dozens of messages every week from users experiencing the same thing. Unfortunately, since this happens on the ArtStation side(most probably), there’s only so much we can do there.
We are letting you know that OUR products have Multiple Download Options
These include:
- PDF-based downloads (more stable for some regions and networks)
- Dropbox download links for both Big and Small packs
- Direct downloads and other options
This way, if one method fails, you always have a backup.
What You Should Do If You Can’t Download a File
If you’re experiencing issues, please send us:
- The exact file or pack name
- Which download option did you tried
- What exactly didn’t work
- Download didn’t start
- Download stopped
- ZIP won’t extract
- Error message (screenshots help)
This allows us to immediately give you the best alternative option without back-and-forth. - or you can use it on your own, just by clicking and choosing the download option
Things You Can Try Right Now
Before reaching out, you can also try:
- Using a different browser
- Turning off download managers or extensions
- Re-downloading the file without resume
- Trying a different network if possible
Sometimes this fixes it instantly — sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, we’ll help.

All these issues are fixable, even if ArtStation-side problems continue.
We’re not going to leave users stuck or unsupported — that’s exactly why we’re adding extra delivery methods and improving our system.
